Lifting Clubs

Set Yourself Apart


These clubs are for Portage Township YMCA members only. Club Membership requires achieving one rep each of the bench press, squat, and deadlift, to total or exceed 500lbs or 1,000lbs (gender neutral). This is a RAW challenge.

All lifts must be performed within one hour and there must be a qualified staff member present as a witness. Club members will receive a Club T-Shirt, be added to the Club List located in the Weight Room, and be recognized on our Website & Social Media.

RULES: an individual must perform one repetition of a Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. After all 3 lifts are successfully completed, the total weight lifted is totaled. To earn membership into the clubs, the total weight of all 3 lifts must be equal to or greater than the club amount of 500lbs (women only), 600lbs (teen males), or 1,000lbs (gender neutral).
